Christmas Lights Switch On 

 26th November 2010 - 2pm-4pm

 

 

OVHA was delighted to support the Cardenden Christmas festival and switching on of the festive lights and tree on the 26th of November. The event proved to be a popular one with large numbers of local residents joining in the fun at the community garden in the middle of the village. Carols were provided by children from the local primary school and several stalls offered some festive nibbles and drinks as well as a tombola and items for sale.

 

 

 

  

OVHA Community Development Officer Vicki Murdoch was an integral member of the group of local representatives that worked tirelessly to raise funds to pay for the first community lights in Cardenden and plans are already underway to make 2011's events even better..
